Aboriginal Patients’ Lodge provides culturally safe accommodations for Indigenous families who must travel to Vancouver to access medical services for cancer, transplants, surgery, complex pregnancies and other medical procedures are welcome to stay for prolonged periods of time. The Lodge is a healing place for all of our guests and their families.

In order to stay at the Lodge, Guests must be in Vancouver for Medical appointments/procedures and must have Indigenous ancestry.
We Offer
One-bedroom suites come with a queen-size bed and a queen-size foldout sofa in the living room.
One-bedroom suite equipped with wheelchair-accessible appliances, including countertops and washroom support bars.
Two-bedroom suites with a queen-size foldout sofa in the living room.
Three-bedroom suite with two queen-size beds, a single bed, and a foldout queen-size sofa in the living room.

Each apartment suite has its own washroom, dining table, living room, bedroom, kitchen, Wi-Fi, TV, a phone for unlimited local calls, and a patio.

One Bedroom Suite
$115
The one-bedroom suite comes with a queen-size bedroom and a queen-size foldout sofabed in the living room. The suite can sleep up to four people. Our suites are fully equipped and furnished.

Two-Bedroom Suite
$135
The two-bedroom suite comes with two queen-size bedrooms and a queen-size foldout sofa in the living room. The suite can sleep up to six people and is fully equipped and furnished.

Three-Bedroom Suite
$135
The three-bedroom suite comes with two queen-size bedrooms, a single bedroom, and a queen-size foldout sofa in the living room. The suite can sleep up to seven people. Our suites are fully equipped and furnished.
Rates and Booking
Finding a Sponsor
Sponsors may be available to assist patients with payments for transportation and accommodations.
First Nations patients living on reserve can approach their Community Health Representative (CHR) and their Community Healthcare Centre to arrange travel accommodations
Persons living away from their Nation can apply to the First Nations Health Authority to see if they are eligible for travel benefits.
If you are receiving Social Assistance, you can apply to the Ministry of Social Development and Poverty Reduction to cover your medical travel expenses.
